Dylan Batty, Mitchel Cumming, Maria Smit, Alex Gawronski and Shane Haseman:

AXES

6 - 28 Jul, 2019

Goya Curtain presents AXES, an exhibition by Sydney based artist-run space KNULP, which includes works by Dylan Batty, Mitchel Cumming, Maria Smit, Alex Gawronski and Shane Haseman.

What secures us also contains us. Space can be thought of as a set of relations and possibilities, depending on context, none of which are without limits. Goya Curtain currently occupies a residential building, a space with its own particular set of limitations. This exhibition considers various axes of influence and connection and focuses on notions of access in both a local and globalized context.
